Fate/Grand Order (FGO) is a popular mobile role-playing game developed by Delightworks and published by Aniplex. It is based on the Fate/stay night series of games created by Type-Moon. The story of the game takes place in a world where humanity is on the brink of destruction. The game's protagonist, known as the main character, is responsible for summoning powerful heroes from the past, known as servants, in order to fight various enemies and save the world. The protagonist and their team of servants embark on a journey through different time periods and eras in order to save humanity.
FGO's gameplay consists of two main parts: a story-based campaign and a battle system. The story campaign is divided into chapters and episodes, each consisting of multiple episodes. The story is told through visual novel-style dialogue and cutscenes that evolve as players complete the storyline. The player's choices in story segments also affect the outcome of the game's narrative. fgo's battle system is turn-based and revolves around the player's team of servants fighting against enemy forces. Players must strategically choose their servants and their respective classes, each with their unique strengths and weaknesses, to combat enemy forces. The battle system also features a rock-paper-scissors-like class triangle, with certain classes having advantages over others. Each servant has a set of abilities, including regular attacks, special moves and Noble Phantasms, which are their ultimate abilities. Players can choose up to five servants to form a team, and each team member has a certain number of action points that determine how many actions they can perform in a turn. Players must use their team's abilities strategically and coordinate their attacks to defeat enemy forces.
FGO also features a summoning system where players can use in-game currency or real money to summon new servants and craft essences. Craft essences are special items that provide bonuses and boosts to the player's servants in battle. The summoning system also includes limited-time events where players can summon servants and craft essences that are only available for a specific period of time.
